5th August 2025 Windsurfing: Levington Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 15/25 Surf / Sea State: smooth Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: 20.04 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 21 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Tuesday 5th August – Windsurf ***** River Orwell at Levington – sunny. Foil – 20.04 knot max, 18.41 knot ave., 13.50 knot hour, 16.25 knot mile, 34.00 km., 15.95 knot alpha (year PB). Starboard Freeride 150 and a Evolution Freeride foil with a Tushingham Storm 5.2. After yesterday poor gusty session with cloud and light rain Levington returned to it’s best today with a good westerly, gusting to 25 knots and sunny, I had it all to myself too! I headed over early as the tide was dropping and had a great time doing some nice long runs down to Felixstowe docks. Some top gybes too including a years best alpha of 15.95 and a nice mile of 16.25. I was home early enough to have a walk along Felixstowe prom with Mag – top day!!! Photo Album here |
